About Lani One’ā
Built by an old-world craftsman and embodying the spirit of Aloha, Lani One’ā was “planted” in Kalapana Seaview Estates in 2019.
Sandy, the original owner, retired here in the invigorating and youthful atmosphere of Pahoa, immersed in creativity and wellness, and made this community of free spirits her home.
The name Lani One’ā (Sandy Heaven) was chosen by the current owners to honor her memory.
Located in the Puna district, Pahoa has the largest concentration of historic buildings in Hawaii. The rich history, stunning scenery, local love and respect of the land (aloha ’āina), and strong sense of community all create a welcoming sanctuary for those seeking peace and relaxation.
The raw power of Kīlauea, with its’ dramatic eruptions, steam vents and hot springs, are a striking contrast to the black sand beaches and lush rainforest of Pahoa. With the roaring Pacific across the street, the front Lawn at Kalapana Seaview Estates becomes a lively drum circle/dance party/street fair every Sunday evening, providing a family-friendly way to socialize and soak in the Aloha.
In the winter months, sit back on the Lawn in the tropical sunshine and watch the whales play in the deep blue Pacific. Or take a short stroll down the Red Road to any one of the Kehena beach access points to let the beautiful black sand and warm surf cast your troubles away on the tides.
Lani One’ā is perfectly situated to enjoy the cool island breeze on a flower-scented night, gaze at the stars and ponder how good life is.
E Komo Mai, dear friends, welcome to Lani One’ā.
